my favourite things/ my blogger friends

He has gone ahead to prepare a mansion
a room for me
and you
the window view
will be perfect
the Light
will never dim
His glory all around us
will be our life in Him

there will be no tomorrow
only today
that never ends
and Him in radiant glory
with all His promises
come true

the laughter will be pure
infectious all around
no sorrow
never sadness
only joy
for me and you

…and if there is a haystack
you, my friends, will be there too

  1. Aren't blogging friends the best!! And if we don't meet on This Side, we can have the joy over There!

    Now that's a lovely thought!

  2. Meet you at the haystack, Susan and maybe we can swing from the rafters too. I am doubly blessed because you are more than a cyber-friend, I've met you face to face, eaten, played and worshipped with you.

  3. Susan,

My dream is to join Andrea Dawn and eat, play and worship with the two of you. This poem is so very precious to me. I will read it and read it and never tire. It does so bless me. I feel like our hearts beat as one and that is a true gift, one that you can't create or force, it just is, like our Father.

    Bless you,
    Dawn

  7. and my favorite line – "there will be no tomorrow
only today." ... and, if you don't mind, I'll just go ahead and count myself as one of those friends. God bless you Susan.

  8. of course Craig... a dear friend! Won't heaven be so much fun!
By the way, today is two celebrations for me, my mom's birthday and our Canadian Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for!
I was so excited because tonight for the first time my husband joined me in writing down a thankful list, he is seeing all the many gifts from our Father's good hand too and this of course makes me very glad!
    Blessings to you
